annual maintenance contract of 110 or 125 kva bfl dg set installed at various bops under shq bsf knr , annual maintenance contract of 110/125 kva bfl dg set ( make of ashok leyland/kirloskar/ cummins ) installed at verious bops under shq bsf knr . routine maintenence - once in a month , repair and maintenence on call as and when fault occurs , routine maintenance job details :- a ) to check all external fasteners , b ) to check lube oil condition , replacement of lube oil filter , if necessary , c ) to check air- cleaner element , lean/replace as required , d ) to check/clean battery terminals , operation of self starter and servive , if required , e ) to ckeck working of electrical system and alternator , f ) to check liner and cylinder head fins of air-cooled engine , g ) to check radiator fins , if chocked arrange cleaning , h ) to check engine hour meter and rectify , if reqired , i ) to check belt alignment/tension , re-set as necessary , j ) to check fuel line , bleed system , fuel tank and quantity-adequate or not report , k ) to ckeck/clean button filter on fuel feed pump and check fuel filters and replace , if necessary , l ) to ckeck for leackage in all system , as necessary , m ) to ckeck / tighten foundation bolts , coupling bolts , n ) run engine on no load for 5 minutes and check , - ( i ) working of all gauges and meters , ( ii ) any abnormality and vibration . correct these , if necessary . o ) to check turbocharger , piping & lubrication of turbocharger , p ) to ckeck driven equipment ( for p . g application ) -terminals/connection for looseness & rectify , q ) to check control panel , blow and clean/service , if required , r ) to check amf panel oprations- in auto & manual modes , s ) to check all fueses and its tightness , t ) to check all bateery charger - voltage and current in boost and trickle condition , u ) to check all meter - voltage , current , terminals and frequency and rectify , if required , v ) to check all wire , terminals and connections etc and rectify , if required , w ) to ckeck all lamp and holders and replace , if required , x ) to check all relays , connectors , transformers etc . and rectify , if rquired , y ) to check heating of all apparatus and componets ( mechanical and electrical ) of the system , z ) to suggest necessity of overhouling of the dg sets .
