tender for repairing of 4 nos. expansionjoints in south delhi rising main emanating from sonia vihar wtp-- 1 hiring of dg set 62 kva with consideration of 1 dg set standby with fuel and operator etc. for lightning purpose only (16 hrs. x 4 nos. sites) 2 providing gland packing (asbestos rope) 25 mm dia to make the joint as leak proof. 3 providing ss studs, nuts, washers (20 mm x 400 mm long) 4 nos. nuts + 4 nos. washers + 1 no. stud(16 sets x 4 nos. sites). 4 providing 50% neoprene rubber ring (hard) 20 mm dia required to make the joint as leak proof. ( 25mtr. x 4 nos. sites) 5 hiring charges of welding set with electric set, operating staff, miscellaneous items, etc. (3 shift x 1 no. x 4 nos. sites) 6 hiring charges of gas cutter with oxygen cylinder, operating staff, miscellaneous items, etc (3 shift x 1 no. x 4 nos. sites) 7 safety precaution for safe working of men & machinery at site, as the work is to be carried out at the height (approx. 20 ft.) i/ccharges for fixing and removing the platform work for making suitable space for smooth working, for cutting the old rusted studs and attending the leakage by tightening the studs form expansion joints and arrangements like face mask, helmet, gum boots, hand gloves, portable ladders, first aid box etc. arranged by firm at site of work for safe working. 8 charges for cutting the existing studs and replacing the same with new studs after filling of gland in the expansion joint to make it leak proof as per site requirement with the help of manpower and machinery i/c transport arrangement loading unloading at site. 9 operation of various control valve and scours to control/reduce the water pressure in order to maintain the safe working condition at sites. (open & close i.e. two jobs) 10 dismantling & grinding of gland plate & removing old decayed gland, rubber ring and fill the joint with new gland & rubber ringand after that fixing the gland plate by using men and machinery i/c cost of lighting arrangement at site. 11 painting of repaired expansion joint with epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. 12 testing & commissioning of expansion joint by running line on full capacity and trial run of complete system after completion of work.
