tender for repair / replacement of underground cable for external electric supply at dharamshala military station and charri camp under age ( i ) dharamshala => limited ; 1 ( a ) taking out old unsv under ground defective cable of size 240, 150, 95 and 50sqmm 3.5 core after excavation from trenches / ducts / along wall / poles / through poles / under roads / inside sub station including segregation the serviceable cable by cutting down defective portionafter testing by megger ( insulation tester ) . ( b ) relaying only serviceable cable obtained from taking out in same or new location or through cable ducts inside / outside of sub station of size240, 150, 95 and 50 sqmm 3.5 core in trenches / ducts along walls / poles under road etc including necessary cable lugs, glands etc complete all as specified by engr-in-charge ( c ) m&l for b brick of old size locally available as protection of cable in trenches including taking out old broken bricks complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge, 2 ( d ) m&l natural river sand as cushioning of cables including spreading and punning down 10 cm all as specified by engr-in-charge. ( e ) labour for returning , filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft / loose soil after repairing / jointing, laying and testingof cables complete and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposited at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above from the starting point complete all as specifiedby engr-in-charge.note : old material will be the property of deptt.
