Government Opium And Alkaloid Works Is The Neemuch Opium Factory Has Been In Operation Since 1st April, 1935. The Alkaloid Works Was Inaugurated On 6th October, 1976. The Campus Has An Area Of 57,000 Sq. Mtrs. Govt. Opium & Alkaloid Works Having Valid CCA For Codeine Phosphate & Pholcodine IP. Initially Codeine Phosphate And Pholcodine IP Were Manufactured With Total 8.4 MT/Year. Now 21 New Products Are Being Proposed In Expansion Unit Having Total Capacity Of 21.6 MT/Year. Total Production Capability Will Be 30.0 MT/Year.
