The Present Proposal Is For Expansion Of Wah-Pynkon Limestone Mine-II Over An Area Of 13.58 Ha Of Star Cement Limited (SCL) Located At Village Lumshnong, Tehsil-Khliehriat, District- East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya. The Present Production Of Limestone Is 49,275 TPA And The Proposed Maximum Production Will Be 6,78,123 TPA In Any One Year. The Limestone Produced From This Mine Will Be Utilized For Cement Manufacturing Plant Of SCL & SCML. In The Present Plan No OB And Waste Material Will Be Generated. Thus, The Entire Production Which Is Equivalent To 299524.55 Cum Per Annum Will Be Total Excavation.
