Tata Steel Limited (TSL) Holds The Katamati Iron Mine Lease Over An Area Of 403.3238 Ha Located In Keonjhar District Of Odisha State And Is Being Worked For Winning Of Iron Ore. Is Proposed To Enhance The Production Capacity (Run Of Mine) From 8 MTPA To 13.5 MTPA With Total Excavation To 15 MTPA Along With Mineral Beneficiation Plant Of 4 MTPA During The Plan Period Due To Increase Iron Requirement For The Expansion Of The Existing Steel Plants, Future Acquisition And Expansion Of It’s Sister Companies.
