Vedanta Limited (Division: Cairn Oil & Gas) Proposes To Carry Out Seismic Surveys, Exploratory And Appraisal Well Drilling And Early Production Of Oil And Gas In The Block. In Case Of A Discovery (Ies), The Exploratory And Appraisal Well(S) Will Be Tested For Extended Duration By Flowing Hydrocarbons To Ascertain The Reservoir Parameters And Assess The Quality And Commercial Viability. The Proposed Project Is Green Field In Nature. The Block Covers An Area Of 1335 Sq. Km In Onshore Area, Falls Under Patan, Banaskantha And Mahesana Districts. It Is Planned To Acquire Seismic Data In The Entire Block And Drill 57 Exploratory And Appraisal Wells.
