In Order To Further Strengthen Its Position In Printing And Writing (P&W) Paper Segment, TNPL Is Contemplating Expansion Of Unit 2 By Adding A P&W Paper Machine Along With A New Chemical Hard Wood Pulp Mill, Chemical Recovery, Power Plant And Utilities. Addition Of One (1) New 1,65,000 Tpa P&W Paper Machine .To Meet The Pulp Demand After MEP, New 1,40,000 BD Tpa ECF Chemical Wood Pulp Mill . One (1) New 130 Tph AFBC Boiler , Ncreasing The Captive Power Generation Capacity From 30 MW To 80 MW, By Installing Two New Turbo Generators Of Total Capacity 50 MW. New Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) With 15,000 M3 /Day Capacity In Addition To Augmentation Of Existing ETP From 9,000 M3 /Day To 12,000 M3 /Day. Adopting Efficient Water Management And Wastewater Management Program To Maximise Recycling Treated Wastewater Reduce Specific Water Consumption Significantly.
