M/S Sri Venkatesh Iron & Alloys (India) Limited Is An Existing Plant Having Sponge Iron Unit Of 4x100 TPD Capacity. The Present Capacity Of The Plant Is To Produce 120,000 Tons Of Sponge Iron (DRI) Annually. Sri Venkatesh Iron & Alloys (India) Limited Has Proposed To Expand And Add Downstream Facilities Like Induction Furnaces (IF), Billet Caster Along With Captive Power Plants (CPP) Of 16 MW To Produce More Economic And Viable Finished Products, To Survive In The Present Market Scenario Company Plan To 2x12t Induction Furnaces And A 2-Strand 6/11 M Radius Continuous Casting Machine For Production Of 73,500 TPA Liquid Steel And 72,000 TPA Billets, Respectively And - Waste Heat Recovery Boilers (Whrbs), Utilizing Waste Heat Of DRI Flue Gases To Produce 8 MW Power And Atmospheric Bubbling Fluidized Bed Combustion (AFBC) Boiler To Produce 8 MW Power. Dolo-Char, Which Is Produced As By-Product In Sponge Iron Plant Which Used As Fuel In AFBC Boiler, Supplemented With Coal. Proposed Expansion Shall Take Place Within The Existing Plant Area Of 5.82 Hectares, In Possession Of The Project Proponent At Village: Lapanga, P.O. Bhadaninagar, Dist: Ramgarh, Jharkhand.
