The Proposed Project For Excavation Of Sand Is An Independent Project In Which Minerals Excavated Will Be Directly Sold In The Local Markets. The Proposed Mine Has Lease Over An Area Of 20.00 Acres (8.09 Ha.) Total Production- 126812.10 Cum/Annum And Opencast Semi Mechanized Mining Practises Will Be Preferred. This Is An Open-Cast Mining Project, Confined To Excavation Of Sand From The Proposed Site. The Operation Will Be Semi-Mechanized Using Excavators/JCB As Well As Manual. The Mineral- Sand Will Be Collected In Its Existing Form. Excavation Will Be Carried Out Only Up To A Depth Of 2.5 M Below Ground Level Or Above Water Level, Whichever Is Less. Excavation Of Sand Material Will Be Done Only During The Day Time And Completely Stopped During The Monsoon Season.
