The Proposed Expansion Project Is A Mechanized Opencast Coal Mine Having Existing Capacity Of 10 MTPA With A Pit Head Coal Washery Of 10 MTPA Throughput Capacities. In Accordance With Capacity Expansion Of Mine From 10 To 15 MTPA, The Coal Washing Plant Capacity Will Be Also Augmented By Additional 5 MTPA To Cater 15 MTPA Washing Capacity. The Washed Clean Coal Will Be Supplied To RVUNL’s Thermal Power Plants By Rail Through Pit Head Railway Siding With Silo & Rapid Loading System.
