ONGC Proposes To Drill 2 Nos Of Exploratory Wells At Selected Area Through Seismic Survey To Identify And Establish Hydrocarbon Potential. As Exploration Within The Basin Is Still In Its Early Stages, Each New Penetration Aids In Determining The Basins Stratigraphic Architecture. The Objective Of Exploratory Drilling Is To More Definitively Ascertain The Oil Reserves In The Block, Which Then Can Be Progressed To The Development Phase. The Locations Will Vary, Depending On The Progressive Exploration Drilling Results.
