VOC Port Is Located At The Southern Part Of India Which Acts As A Major Port That Connects The International Sea-Route. The Port Already Has 14 Existing Berths That Handle Coal, Dry Bulk Cargo, POL Etc. The Total Area Of The Port Is 3512.31 Acres. The Proposed Development Consists Of Optimizing The Inner Harbour Through Deepening The Harbour Basin And Approach Channel To Handle 15.20 M Draught Vessels, Modification Of Port Entrance, Construction Of Six Numbers Of Berths Inside The Harbour Basin, Strengthening/ Up-Gradation Of Existing Berths-1 To 9, NCB-I And NCB-II To Handle Various Types Of Cargo Like Dry Bulk Cargo, Edible Oil, Coal, Construction Materials, General Cargo, Container And Clean Cargoes.
