M/s Super Smelters Ltd, in Jamuria Industrial Estate belongs to SAI Group formed in the year 1995. The expansion proposals of the company are to setup one more 1X0.6 MTPA pellet plant and to setup 2 MTPA Iron ore fines beneficiation plant for 2x0.6 MTPA Pellet Plant, to install 2X500 TPD DRI kilns to meet raw material requirement of Induction Furnaces, which are to replace EAFs. There by generation of power from WHRBs of DRI kilns will be 20MW. AFBC will be setup to utilize dolchar from these DRI Kilns to produce steam for generation of 8MW power and thereby Captive power generation will increase from 159 MW to 184 MW.
