Venkateshwara Power Projects Limited is proposing 90 KLPD molasses based distillery in the existing sugar factory premises. The factory is having a crushing capacity of 3500 TPD and cogeneration of 30 MW. The Manufacturing of Rectified Spirit/ Extra Neutral Alcohol/ alcohol for making liquor/ fuel will be done by adopting continuous fermentation method. The fermented wash will be distilled in a pressure vacuum distillation to obtain rectified spirit and Extra Neutral Alcohol will be from Rectified Spirit. The impurities in Rectified Spirit will be reduced by diluting and redistilling the spirit. The impurities like aldehydes, ketones, acids, esters, higher alcohols are minimized by controlled condition.
