The detailed survey of the submergence has been carried out earlier and capacity of the reservoir has been worked out as per area of plotted contours at an interval of 0.50 meters. Capacity table and curve are enclosed as Annexure-V, and capacity of 148.11M.Cum is available at proposed FRL 319.25 meter. Out of total gross storage capacity of 148.11 M.Cum, the live staorage capacity has been kept at 146.79 M.Cum and dead storage of the reservoir is 0.42 M.Cum. The drinking water demand as per PHED letter, water demand for thermal power plant as per RUVNL Demand, demand of horticulture and Forestry College and industrial water demand of RIICO have been considered from the proposed storage capacity of reservoir. plan to generate 2520MW power and irrigation of land is 14250HA area
