Sar Senapati Santaji Ghorpade Sugar Factory Limited (SSSGSFL) is a sugar factory located at Dist. Kolhapur in Maharashtra State. The present registered crushing capacity of SSSGSFL is 4800 TCD. In view of sufficient cane availability to the extent of more than 9-10 lac MT with increased irrigation facilities in the area of operation from season 2016-17 and future trends for next five season, SSSGSFL has decided to carry out modernization cum expansion of sugar plant from 4800 TCD to 8000TCD along with expansion of cogeneration from 22 MW to 45MW and distillery from 30 KLPD to 95 KLPD. All proposed equipment’s of modernization cum expansion along with expansion of cogeneration project will be commissioned in 2017-2018 season, and technical efficiency figures considered in Modernization cum Expansion with expansion of cogeneration project report.
