The project being proposed is important in view of the distribution of LPG to the consumers and Prime Minister has announced LPG connection to rural & remote area where fire wood is used predominantly. Therefore this project has nation importance and will also contribute to the socio economic development the region. The demand for LPG is growing with market and addition of new consumers through Government schemes to reduce pollution due to use of fire wood and safe guard the environment. IOCL has proposed to increase the storage capacity of LPG at their existing LPG bottling plant with addition of 1 No. x 900 MT mounded storage vessel.
