Numaligarh Refinery Limited along with M/s Chempolis Oy, Finland proposes to set up a Bamboo based Bioethanol project at Village Owguri Chapori Gaon, Tehsil Golaghat, adjacent to Numaligarh Refinery, Mouza- Morongi, District Golaghat, Assam as a Joint Venture project. Main raw material of the project is Bamboo from which Fuel Grade Ethanol will be produce along with other by products. Proposed Bamboo Based Bioethanol Plant to Manufacture
Ethanol (49,000 TPA), Acetic Acid (11,000 TPA), Furfural (19,000 TPA), Biocoal (1,60,000 TPA) and Stillages (Dry Basis,30,000 TPA)
