Kangde Xin Composite Material Co Ltd
The Telangana government has inked a memorandum of understanding with Chinese electronics giant Kangde Xin Composite Material Co Ltd (KDX) and Aries EPICA Electronics LLC to manufacture glasses-free 3D screens, mobiles, televisions and electronic home appliances in Telangana.
During a meeting with KT Rama Rao, State IT Minister, the team explained their joint venture investment and expansion plans in Telangana, and apprised him about the company’s portfolio ranging from electronic devices to content production for the entertainment industry.
Mentioning the single window clearance accorded to 1,700 industries so far in the state, Rao assured them of all possible support to realise their investment plans in the shortest possible time.
Biao Zhang, KDX group Vice-Chairman for 3D displays, presented the company’s glasses-free 3D screen mobile phone to the minister and showcased their unique technology features.
Under the agreement, KDX along with Aries EPICA have agreed to establish its manufacturing facility in Telangana for 3D Glasses, related consumer and non-consumer electronics products including tablets, mobile phones and display units.
The state will extend all incentives and subsidies in line with the Electronic Hardware Policy and the Policy for Mobile Manufacturers, wherever applicable.
Kangde Xin Composite Material Co. Ltd had a turnover of $1.2 billon in 2015.
