The Netherlands-based Paques Group, a green energy company specialising in harnessing industrial waste water through treating biological waste, has commenced work on its plant at Sri City in Andhra Pradesh.
The company, which started its wholly-owned subsidiary, Paques Environmental Technology India in Chennai, is now establishing a manufacturing base at Sri City.
Marking the start of construction, Suba Ganesan, Controller of the company, along with other senior officials broke the ground and laid the foundation stone at Sri City on Friday.
The plant, which will be built on a 2-acre plot with an investment of Rs. 30 crore during the initial phase, will be commissioned by this July. The factory would provide employment opportunity for about 75 people. The unit will manufacture reactors for waste water treatment and gas treat.
