Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is planning to construct a flyover at JVPD junction, West Mumbai. The proposed flyover will have three to four arms, of which, one of them will connect to Guru Nanak Road and the other will connect to Andheri station road, Versova beach (coastal road) will also be connected by one of the arms. BMC is planning to invite tenders soon and the company is taking up a project from MMRDA, for which the authority had already carried out a feasibility report. The BMC will soon be inviting tenders for the project, but work will start only after the monsoons are over. The project is estimated to cost Rs 90 crore.
