Andhra Pradesh government is planning to add 15,869 mega watt power generation capacity in the next five years. The state energy department said that this capacity in addition would include thermal power (3,240 mw), central generating stations (1,949 mw), solar (3,150 mw), wind (7,030 mw) and other sources.
