Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) is developing a GIS-based 3D protocol for Cuddalore and Nagapattinam areas for more efficient and effective preparedness to face tsunamis and cyclones. Details of every individual living in the areas would be in the 3D protocol. The pilot project would be replicated in other areas based on its success in the two areas.
