Hindustan Powerprojects is planning to invest Rs 12,000 crore over the next two years to install 2 gigawatts of clean electricity. Hindustan Powerprojects is developing thermal plants with a combined generation capacity of about 5,000 megawatt in the states of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh. Also the company's 2,520 megawatt thermal power project at Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh will get commissioned soon. The company is also developing hydro power projects.
