Real estate firm Hiranandani Group plans to build an 8 million ton per year LNG import facility at Jaigarh on Maharasthra by July 2018 to meet the growing energy demand. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, in a public notice, invited comments on the company's proposal to connect the Jaigarh LNG terminal with Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel (DUDPL) pipeline and Dabhol-Bangalore (DBPL) line. The company is also evaluating the feasibility of setting up a 6 million tons per annum Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) Project in the Bay of Bengal.
