Chhattisgarh tourism board, which was recently allottedRs 113.5-crore project prioritisation by the Ministry of Tourism, will aim at privatisation of its hotels in the coming year. The hotels are located in Raipur, Manipat, Gangrel, Barnawapara, Chitrakot, Amadob and Sirpur.
The board plans to revamp its existing state-run hotels by offering external players a chance to operate and manage their hotels or develop them further.
we are looking at establishing successful public private partnerships for seven state-run hotels, spread over approximately 70 acres of land across the state to run efficiently and we need to revamp them," says the tourism board's managing director, Santosh Misra.
