P2 Solar developer of solar photovoltaic (PV) and hydro power projects, today announces that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for its small hydro Project Rajgarh in Punjab, India, has been approved and accepted by the Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) and the Punjab Irrigation Department (PID).
Clearance of the DPR is a critical step forward. The DPR sets out the proposed engineering design, hydrological data, and other critical factors impacting the project.
Raj-Mohinder Gurm, CEO of P2, said, "This is another significant step in moving our renewable energy projects forward in India. The DPR is important as it is the basis for taking and assessing construction tenders for Project Rajgarh, which we will be assessing very shortly.
