Fortis Healthcare plans to open high end medical facilities in Bangalore in the next two years.
These two facilities will have a capacity of 280 beds, according to company officials. Fortis La Femme, the first one at Richmond Road will be dedicated to mother and child care. The 210 bed facility will come up on Bannerghatta Road and will be for cancer-related care. Apart from oncology, the new expansion will have additional operation theatres with a high end Brain Suite and state-of-the-art ICU’s, company officials said.
Malvinder Mohan Singh and Shivinder Mohan Singh, Executive Chairman and Executive Vice Chairman, Fortis Healthcare said: "Both facilities will fill a vital need gap and complement Fortis’ medical specialty offerings in the city."
