The Union Minister of Steel, Shri Beni Prasad Verma has layed the foundation of `Amity International School, Gonda at Soni Mahipal, Gonda – Utraula Road, Gonda on 2nd March, 2014. The Senior Secondary school will be set up by Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF), an umbrella organization for Amity foundation, with support from four central PSUs namely Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), National Mineral & Development Corporation Ltd. (NMDC), MOIL Ltd (MOIL) and Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL).
SAIL, NMDC, RINL and MOIL will provide financial assistance to Ritnand Balved Education Foundation for setting up the School. The school will meet the demand for quality education in the area and will contribute to brining about a wave of educational resurgence in the area, as is the vision of the Minister of Steel.
