The Bridge & Roof Co Ltd (B&R), a mini Ratna public sector enterprise, has bagged the project for constructing the NVH Lab infrastructure of the National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Projects (NATRiP) at Manesar, Haryana.
"Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) facility is a great boon for automotive original equipment and component manufacturers that would put India in the global league. We are confident of completing the project on schedule," said M K Singh, CMD, Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Ltd.
NATRiP is one of the largest and most significant initiatives in the automotive sector to build core global competencies and facilitate seamless integration of Indian Automotive industry with it. It is estimated to cost Rs 2268 crore.
The project is unique with the centre, a number of state governments and Indian automotive industry joining hands to create a state-of-the-art testing, validation and R&D infrastructure across seven locations in the country. NATRiP project includes setting up of five green field centres at Manesar, Chennai, Indore, Silchar, Rae Bareilly and upgradation of two existing centres at Pune and Ahmednagar.
