The Central Sanctioning And Monitoring Committee ( CSMC) Of The Union Ministry Of Urban Development Approved The Allocation Of Funds For The Two Projects. In The First Project, Installment For Kanpur Sewerage Works Has Approved. The Total Approved Cost Of The Project Is Estimated To Be Around Rs 207.36 Crores While Additional Central Assistance (ACA) Of Around Rs 100 Crores Is Admissible. The Project Is To Be Completed By March 2014. In The Second Project For Sewerage Works, The Government Had Approved The Proposal To Release An Amount Of Rs 1,26.25 Crores As Fourth Installment For Sewerage Treatment Project Of City.
