The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has invited bids worth Rs 10.7 crore for various road works in the city. The works are to be executed through private contractors and the last date for filing the bids is October 3, 2013. 28 various road works of Nashik, included in tenders. The late Kishor Suryavanshi Road in ward no. 5 in Panchavati division of the civic body is to be tarred at a cost of Rs 2.62 crore. The roads in Prabhatnagar area in the same ward will be resurfaced by spending of Rs. 78.96 lakh. The roads near Sanmitra Housing Society in ward no. 40 in Nashik East division, which were broken during the works undertaken by storm water drainage and water supply departments, are to be macadamized and tarred at a cost of Rs. 68.17 lakh. The bids also include works like macadamization and tarring of roads.
