VA Tech Wabag Has Bagged An Order From Orissa Water Supply And Sewerage Board (OWSSB) For A Value Of Around Rs 325 Crore. The Work Of Project Includes Construction Of Sewage Treatment Plants And Pumping Stations In Bhubaneswar Sewerage Districts VI And Cuttack Sewerage District I And II With O&M For A Period Of 7 Years. Total Three Sewage Treatment Plants Are Planned At Bhubaneswar SD VI (48 MLD); Cuttack SD I (36 MLD) And Cuttack SD II (16 MLD) Aggregating To 100 MLD Treatment Capacity With Provision For Future Expansion For Producing Bio-Gas From Sewage To Make Plant Self-Sufficient In Terms Of Power. The Project Is Funded By Japan International Cooperation Agency. VA Tech Wabag Gmbh Is A Multinational Company, Is Specializing In Water Treatment For Municipal And Industrial Users.
