CavinKare has received a private equity (PE) investment of Rs. 250 crore from ChrysCapital. ChrysCapital is a Mauritius-based firm. This investment will be used to strengthen and expand its existing brand portfolio. ChrysCapital, it is learnt, will have one nominee on the board of CavinKare. the investment had come in through a combination of debt and equity. C. K. Ranganathan, Chairman & Managing Director of CavinKare, said “The investment from ChrysCapital will give a strong financial boost to the company, given the rapid expansion and diversification undertaken in the last few years.
