Jakson Power Solutions plans to invest about Rs 750 crore primarily in its solar business in the next three to four years. The firm would also be investing in EPC, generating sets and hospitality. Jakson Power Solutions Managing Director Sameer Gupta said, "We intend to make investments of about Rs 750 crore in the next three to four years. The company has made invested around Rs 300 crore in nearly last two years," The company has a 20 MW solar power project in Rajasthan and plans are on the anvil to increase the generation capacity to 100 MW within three years. In hospitality sector, the company is building three small hotels -- each having about 100 rooms -- in upcoming industrial towns. Two hotels are coming up in Maharashtra and Gujarat while the location for the third one is yet to be decided.The company is exploring opportunities in the solar segment overseas, including in Africa and the Middle East.
