South Based Small Cap Company Ultramarine & Pigments Plans To Set Up A Greenfield Project At Dahej In Gujarat To Manufacture Specialty Surfactants That Find Use In Shampoos, Toothpastes And Liquid Detergents At A Cost Of Rs 42 Crore. The Project Is Expected To Commence Operations Within 2 Years. It Will Be Funded By Internal Accruals As Well As Borrowings. The Company Has Unused Land Bank Of Over 150 Acres In Tamil Nadu, Part Of Which Could Be Monetised To Repay The Borrowings By The Time The Dahej Project Commissions. The Company Operates In Two Major Verticals Apart From Surfactants Viz. Pigments And IT Enabled Services. Ultramarine & Pigments Ltd Is One Of The Largest Pigment And Surfactant Manufacturing Company Of Indian Origin, Having Two Factories In South India.
