Bharti Airtel Has Entered Into A Tie-Up With US-Based Genesys, To Offer Hosted Contact Centre (HCC) Services, After It Severed Its Collaboration With Chennai-Based Servion Global Solutions, A Customer Interaction Management (CIM) Solutions Company. The New Partnership, With Genesys, Would Be To Offer Services Purely On Software As A Service (Saas)-Based Model, Which Supports Quicker Deployment And Ensures Faster Go-Live For Customer Processes. With The Saas-Based Model, It Would Have A Lean Hardware Footprint At The Customer Site And Would Support Centralised And De-Centralised Architecture For Meeting Various Customer Requirements. Genesys, Which Was Earlier Part Of Alcatel, Has Grown As An Integrated Suite Of Customer Service Solutions To Provide More Insight Into And Control Over Contact Centre Operations, Including Multi-Channel Support, Ivrs And Voice Portals For Self-Service, And Workforce Management.
