The Cooperative Banks Exclusively For Women Will Be Opened In Bihar. In The First Phase The Branches Will Be Started In Patna, Nalanda And Bhagalpur And Later On Such Branches Will Come Up In Other Parts Of The States Too. The State Government Recently Announced 50% Reservation For Women In Cooperative And PACS By Amending The Act. These Banks For Women Will Be Managed And Run Only By The Women. Only The Women Can Open Account There And They Will Be Entitled For Seeking Loan From Those Branches. It Has Also Been Planned That All The Schemes Related To Women Welfare And Empowerment Will Also Be Managed By Those Women Only Banks. The Priority Will Be Given To Women Belonging To Dalit And Backward Castes.
