Crompton Greaves Has Bagged An Order Worth Rs 239 Crore From Netherlands-Based Firm Van Oord Offshore Wind Projects For Executing A Project. Crompton Greaves Is An Indian Multinational Company Engaged In Design, Manufacturing, And Marketing Of Products Related To Power Generation, Transmission, And Distribution Based In Mumbai. It Is Part Of Avantha Group.. Crompton Greaves In Consortium With Cofely Fabricom And Iemants, It Will Design, Deliver And Install The High Voltage Offshore Substation For The Luchterduinen Project. The Luchterduinen Offshore Wind Farm Has An Installed Production Capacity Of 129MW. The 43 Wind Turbines Will Generate Green Electricity For Nearly 150,000 Households. The Company Will Design, Engineer And Manufacture The Overall Electrical System. The Project Is Expected To Be Completed By August 2015. This Is The Sixth Large Offshore Connection Project Secured By CG Since 2008
