Engineering And Construction Company Larsen And Toubro Ltd Has Secured An Order Worth Rs.5,689 Crore From Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd For Setting Up A Super Critical Thermal Power Project On A Complete Engineering, Procurement And Construction Basis. Project Involves Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Erection And Commissioning Of Two Coal-Fired Thermal Units Of 660 MW Each With Super Critical Parameters At Chhabra In Baran District In Rajasthan. Company Has Won Contract On International Competitive Bidding Process, Involving Several Bidders. L&T Has Orders For Supply And Installation Of 26 Super Critical Steam Generators And Steam Turbine Generators Of 660MW, 700MW And 800MW. According Mr. S.N. Roy, Whole-Time Director And Senior Executive Vice-President (Corporate Affairs And Power ) At L&T “We Have A Built-Up Capacity For 5,000MW And We Can Ramp It Up To 6,000MW. We Are Also Expecting One Or Two Similar Orders From State And Central Bodies”
