Andhra Pradesh Government Has Allotted Rs 500 Crore For The Prestigious Hyderabad Metro Rail Project In The Budget For 2013-14. The Amount To Be Spent Over 5 Years For Land Acquisition, Road Widening (Right Of Way), Relief & Rehabilitation, Utilities Shifting, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited. State Government Was Released An Amount Of Rs.950 Crore In The Last Two Years - 2011-12 (Rs 350 Crore) And 2012-13 (Rs 600 Crore) Towards Its Share For The Project. The State Government's Share Of Rs 1,980 Crore Is In Addition To The Project Cost Of Rs 14,132 Crore To Be Shared By Government Of India Under Viability Gap Funding Scheme And The Private Concessionaire M/Sl&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd .
