Following A Need For More Funding Towards The Program, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa Has Allocated An Additional Rs. 100 Crore, Taking The Overall Sum To Rs. 290 Crore This Year. She Also Sanctioned Rs. 19.25 Crore Towards Taking Up Repair Works At Houses Constructed By Ngos As Part Of Tsunami Rehabilitation. A Total Of Over 12,035 Houses In Nagapattinam, Cuddalore, Tuticorin, Kancheepuram And Tirunelveli Will Be Covered
