The Power Sector In The National Capital Allocated Rs 513 Crore In Delhi Budget With Focus On Constructing New Sub-Stations For Better Transmission And Distribution System. Accordingly Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, The Metropolis Consumed 25349 Power Units In The Last One Decade, An Increase Of 5683 Million Units Since 2002. To Fulfill The Increasing Demand, New Sub-Stations Are Being Set Up At Harsh Vihar, Peeragarhi, Wazirpur, Rohini And Lodhi Road With The Augmentation And Modernisation Of The Existing Sub-Stations. The State Government Is Planing To Increase The Transformation Capacity To 16,000 MVA By The End Of The Year.
