Heubach Colour, in joint venture with Toyo Ink SC Holding Co, Japan is planning to to set up a pigments manufacturing facility at Ankleshwar in Gujarat. The project involves setting up a manufacturing facility within Heubach Colour's existing production site at Ankleshwar. The unit will manufacture azo pigments, which are used in the dyes for the textiles, plastics and leather articles. The two companies had also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the recently concluded Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2013. As of February 2013, the company is in the process of signing the joint venture agreement with the Japanese partner.
