K P R Industries is setting up a 200 tpd Caustic Soda-Chlorine plant at Balabhadrapuram in Andhra Pradesh. As of February 2013, the company has awarded the turnkey contract for implementing the project to Uhde India. As per the contract, Uhde India will provide Basic & Detailed Engineering, Project Management Services, Technical Procurement, Supply of Imported Cell elements, Supervision Services during Civil & Erection and Assistance during Commissioning and Guarantee Test Runs.
