Teva Pharmaceutical Industries has reported progress on its proposed manufacturing facility in Gujarat coming up in Joint Venture with h Proctor & Gamble, US. The upcoming plant would be making the Vicks range of products from P&G stable such as cough drugs, medicated lozenges, inhalers etc. The company has been allotted 50 acres of land for the project. As of February 2013, the project is under implementation. The phase I of the project would be operational by 2014, while the phase II would be complete by 2016.
