Wabco India has reported progress on its auto componets making plant in Lucknow. The proposed plant will manufacture air brakes for commercial vehicles and will cater to Swaraj Mazda, Tata Motors (Lucknow unit) and Ashok Leyland, which has a facility in Pantnagar. Construction commenced in February 2012. As of February 2013, the project is under implementation.
