Gujarat State Fertilisers and Chemicals is implementing an expansion programme at its unit in Sikka in Gujarat. The plant currently produces around 7-8 lakh tonnes of DAP annually and the expansion programme involves increasing fertiliser production capacity by up to 4 lakh tonnes per annum. As of January 2013, the project is under construction.
