As of January 2013, Suryalakshmi Cotton Mills is planning to shift its proposed manufacturing facility from Andhra Pradesh to Nagpur, Maharashtra for which land acquisition is underway. The project will be financed with 60 per cent debt and interest subsidy under the Textile Upgradation Fund Scheme (TUFS).
